Whitmer is from the small city of Gulf Shores off the coast of Alabama’s Pleasure
Island. He moved to LA in 2006 to pursue acting and writing for TV and film. Whitmer
occasionally performers stand up at various venues around the city. In his spare time
he enjoys going to shows at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre.
